Making the bed is very difficult with cats and dogs.
First move said cat or dog then stretch out the bottom or fitted sheet and begin tucking the corners.
Second move said cat or dog then stretch out the top sheet, moving said cat and dog again. Then pull the top sheet upto the pillows, move said cat and dog again. Tuck the ends of the sheet at the foot of the bed and make hospital corners.
Third move said cat and dog again. then spread out the thermal blanket and bring it to the pillows and then tuck the end
Fourth move said cat and dog again and then spread out the quilt. Take the quilt to the pillows and then make sure it stretches over the foot of the bed and the sides.
Fifth move said cat and dog again then put the pillow shams and throw pillow and tigger doll on the bed
Sixth by the time I am done with all of this I am ready for a nap but the bed is all made.

Movin' on up!
That's pretty much how it works at my house, too. There is always a "Buddy lump" in the middle of my comforter.

too funny! lol...every time i try to make the bed, my wolf mix ginger hops up on the bed and rolls around on the bed (mind you before i put the fitted sheet on
) and she will yodle at me and howl (ah the joys of having a wolf mix
) she's soo cute...then when I try to put the sheets on, she'll "army crawl" under them and then take a corner of the sheet in her mouth and bounce around the bed with it - what a goofy girl
. Then she refuses to let me put the top sheet on and repeats the process all over again. When I an FINALLY get the comfortor on, she crawls underneath it and thinks she's being cute by "hiding from me"
....when it's time to put the pillows on, she will take them in her mouth and run off with them all through the house being a brat
...and once I FINALLY get the pillows on- she gets up on the bed, and then all the kitties join her and get fur all over the clean bed
ahh the joys of furbabies

Fosters LOVES to play the blanket monster game too...only, he's not a cute little kitty- his teeth hurt!
lol....he really thinks he's killing that blanket monster when he "attacks". I made the mistake of introducing the blanket monster to him a few months ago when he was on the bed with colin and I and i put my hand under the blanket and "attacked" his feet.
he's been hooked ever since and insists on "protecting" colin and i from those monsters in our bed
only half the time he play bites my legs or arms

Oh yes, that sounds quite familiar. At our house it's not just making the bed either. Conner's fave is dusting. He thinks the big feather duster is his long lost love. He loves to rub his head all over the feathers and hugs the whole thing close to his body. I play back with him with it, and talk to him in a french accent and we've named the feather duster (i.e. his girlfriend) Genevie. It should only take a couple minutes to dust, but its a half-hour long ordeal at my apartment. *sigh*
