cardboard box

for some reason, our cat, baby, she loves to get in her cardboard boxes, but that's not it. she likes to chew them up too! i don't know why, we don't have a problem with it or anything, but, is there something phychological going on there? or does she just like the taste of cardboard boxes? it really is pretty funny, watching her. it's her favorite pasttime!

All cats love cardboard boxes and will sit in them, play in them in preference to lots of toys. Some love to tear or chew the cardboard too. My Dushka will rip and chew cardboard - both the sound and hte taste seem to appeal to her!

Cardboard lovers here too. Some sleep in the boxes. Also good for hiding in and pouncing out on other cats.

Baker & Spritzer like to rip them up.

She sounds normal to me, though I'd watch to see she doesn't eat the cardboard.

All four of our cats would rather sleep in a cardboard box than in bed.
None of ours chew on it though.
