We got Reeses spayed on Thursday. The day before while she was at the vet over night we got her one of those cardboard scratching pads that includes catnip, because she never uses her scratching post.

Is it alright to let her use this after only 2 days? Will active scratching motions do any harm to her incision? I wouldn't think so. Also, the pad includes cat nip but I'm not sure if it was already sprayed with it. Would this be a bad thing to give her? I don't want her to get hyper and then maybe over-exert herself.

I gave her the pad for a few minutes yesterday and she went at it right away, scratching vigerously (woo!) but then I thought of how it might impact her recovery and I took it away.

She keeps scratching a corner of our kitchen and is messing up our wallpaper and she already did a number on the couch so I'd like to give this to her ASAP!

The scratching pad shouldn't be a problem. I'd say that after two days you could pretty much let her do whatever she wants.
My two kittens were chasing each other through the house and up and down the cat tree less than two days after they came home from their spay. They never had any problems with their stitches.

They told me at the vets office that as long as I checked occasionally to make sure everything was OK and that's what I did.
