I'm an owner of a kitten. My mom went to the grocery store, because my dad told her they had cheaper food there, of what my kitten, Peach eats (Iams Kitten -- purple bag). So she went..and they didn't have it @[email protected] she bought 'cat' food. It said for cats of all ages..only she's a kitten who was born in May.

My aunt told us to mix her old food, what we had left of it, with her new, to help her adjust to the change. And well..to make a long story short..she isn't eating it. We put it in her bowl at around 3...and it's 10 now, and none gone. =S...

So anyways..my question is, is it ok for a kitten to eat cat food..whats the difference? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks =D

It's named Purina Cat Chow: Complete Formula. It's in a blue bag.

Read the bottom of the bag or look for AFFCO on the back of it ... if it says all stage then it is okay for a kitten ... I would suggest a Higher quality food ... as if you read your current food CORN and Poultry by products are the main ingrediants ...

Ah. Alright. Well, I didn't bother looking further on the bag, as it's low quality. I switched it out for her purple food, and she's eating it now ^__^

My mom said she'll buy her old kind somewhere else. It's not such a big deal, cause the new kind was only like $5.
