Can anyone recommend a good place to get a decent laser pointer? i don't want to spend an outrageous amount of money but so far we bought a $5 at Walmart that died after a week (not just the battery) and a $10 at Target that is too small and weak for the cats to really follow!

I bought one at Petsmart for $4.99 a month ago and it still works great. It is blue and was in the toy aisle.

I assume you know this but forgive me for saying it: A laser pointer, if shined into the eyes of your cat can cause permanent damage or blindness. Don't let children have the pointer because they almost always want to shine it in the cat's eyes. Sorry, just had to say that because of a personal experience.

I got mine from Petfooddirect.com for under $5 but then you have to pay shipping.
