I live in an area where the nearest Petsmart is 60 miles away. Petco's food is too expensive for me right now. (My cat can only eat wet food, now)

Trader Joe's seems to have good cat food, no by-products of any kind, but seems different. As I'm cutting it, it settles a little in the can, like it is puffed up or something. Hopefully, I can get to a point to where I can go to Petsmart about once a month. I usually feed Whisky the Authority brand.

Is Trader Joe's ok for now?

BTW, it is about the same cost as Authority.

My guys love trader Joes turkey and giblets. They stopped likeing the chicken for some reason. I have noticed an inconsisitancy in the product as far as texture goes. Sometimes it seems juicier than others, but the cats don't seem to mind. The ingredients look fine.

Odo lives on Trader Joe's cat food. As long as your kitty doesn't have a fish allergy (all of their flavors have fish), there shouldn't be an issue. Honestly, even Willow (who usually prefers dry food) will come wait for the Trader Joe's canned. I switched Odo to it from Natural Balance for cost reasons, and I haven't noticed any negative changes.

My cat loves Trader Joes' when the neighbours give us a can for a sample, but the fish is only suitable once or twice a month.
It's funny, but the TJ food doesn't look good to me; but to the cat, it's wonderful. she likes her food gloopy and messy.

I like Trader Joe's cat food as one option, I would find it comparable to Authority.

I know what you mean...the consistency is weird!
