I leave dry food (Royal Canin) out for my cat at all times, and for now it seems a half can of wet food a day helps with her coat filled out, and seems to keep her weight steady, and her poop not too messy.

My question is, what time of day is best to feed her the wet food? (She likes it a lot) or does it really matter as long as its consistant?

We feed dry in the morning and canned in the evening. In both cases, its measured out - not free feeding on the dry.

I have dry out all the time, and give wet 'yum-yums' whenever I'm feeling particularly lovey. I don't know that it really matters what time you give the wet, because they'll ajust their dry eating around the wet if you're free-feeding it.
