Just wandering through all the old photographs again, and marveling at how everyone has grown.

Who would have known that this skinny, half starved little runt...

..and this filthy little ragamuffin..

..with good food, baths, brushing, beds and lotsa lotsa lovin', could turn into my darling and dynamic duo of Hobo Skimbleshanks and Diva Etcetera

He was a little sad sack as a kitten. I honestly think that he climbed into that railroad boxcar to take a nap, and when he woke up, he was on the road and all alone; because for the longest time, he wouldn't sleep for more than a few seconds at a time unless he was draped over my shoulder (he still likes to hang there
)

Then, like on day 3, right out of the blue, he was sitting on the bed so tired that his head was bobbing, and my main man, Mr. Mischief Mistoffolees, got over the "new kitten" syndrome and just hopped onto the bed and plopped down right in front of him. The little Hobo snatched hold of Mischief's tail and went straight to sleep. The two have been thick as thieves ever since.

(and of all the luck, had the camera charged up at the time
)
