As some of you may know, my Leo has feline leukemia. Today he has not been eating, and has had a sick tummy. He has been throwing up some nasty foul smelling green stuff. He has been throwing up once in a while for the past week, but he has always had spells of that, so I wasn't teribly concerned. It wasn't abnormal for him. I tried to get him to a vet, but everyone closed at noon today, and the emergency vet is no longer open here. He doesn't seem to be in any pain, and I got him to eat a little this morning. He is drinking and littering ok. He played with his favorite toy a little. He nibbled on some cat grass a little while ago. He is not feverish. Is there anything else I can do for him until I can get him to a vet? Am I just being paraniod because I know he is sick? He has always been a picky eater, and has kind of a delicate stomach. I would appreciate any input.

Basically if he is vomiting you don't want to give him food. You just want to push fluids. Pedialyte is a good replacer fluid for him as he will have gotten rid of a majority of his water when he was sick. Just give him a dark quiet spot to sleep and rest, and get him to the vet as soon as you can. Hugs ((((((()))))))))
