Microwave death

A woman is being accused of having microwaved her infant: http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/11/29/ba....ap/index.html
What's really horrendous is that there was a similar case a few years ago.

I read that story yesterday. Its truly disgusting! That poor baby! I can't get the mental image of a poor helpless baby in a microwave screaming its lung out.

RIP little baby!

I read that today also, it has been a really bad time to be a baby in Ohio there is also the case of the girl who left her baby in an SUV in a garage for a few days while she went out of town- what the hell are these people thinking!!! Birth Control in the water, please!!! some people should not have children

Have you heard that full story? I guess she didn't tell her boyfriend or anyone she was pregnant and delivered the baby herself and just went on her normal life. She left it alone at home while she went shopping or work or whatever. I am suprised it lived until 7 or 8 weeks I think they said it was. I saw the boyfriend interviewed and he was shocked and couldn't believe it and had no idea why she wouldn't tell him that she was pregnant in the first place. Plus she had absolutely no criminal record. They said that on the news like that made it all okay.

OMG! No, i didn't read anything on it, I figured what I had heard was bad enough.... apparently not I know this girl was 23, not a teenager or something, she's a little mental I think

From what I read, it took a while to conclusively determine the cause of death - that isn't always immediately obvious and it sometimes takes time for tests to be completed.

In addition, prosecutors don't want to make an arrest, until they are sure that they have a good case.

You would be surprised though how many people in the U.S. are in their 20s and never had sex education. I've heard of so many people that didn't know they were pregnant, just thought they were gaining weight and one day oops! Out comes a baby.

I'm not saying that she did know she was pregnant or not, just that those that don't receive proper sex education don't know what to do about having a baby, before, during and after the conception. This could be due to the lack of sex education given by the school, maybe the parents pulled her out of school during the time it was taught and never passed their knowledge on to her, or she may have skipped classes that day. You just don't know.

Also this is by no means a justification for what she did...if the baby felt cold, you use a blanket or towel...you don't pop the baby in the microwave for 30 seconds to warm it up. Are there warning labels on microwaves that say "Please heat food only on items that are marked microwavable." ?

the 23 year old was actually the one who left the baby alone all day and when going out of town:

Maybe she's another one of those nuts who thought her baby was possessed by the devil or something. And I totally agree that she should burn for the rest of eternity!!!!!
