You would be surprised though how many people in the U.S. are in their 20s and never had sex education. I've heard of so many people that didn't know they were pregnant, just thought they were gaining weight and one day oops! Out comes a baby.
I'm not saying that she did know she was pregnant or not, just that those that don't receive proper sex education don't know what to do about having a baby, before, during and after the conception. This could be due to the lack of sex education given by the school, maybe the parents pulled her out of school during the time it was taught and never passed their knowledge on to her, or she may have skipped classes that day. You just don't know.
Also this is by no means a justification for what she did...if the baby felt cold, you use a blanket or towel...you don't pop the baby in the microwave for 30 seconds to warm it up. Are there warning labels on microwaves that say "Please heat food only on items that are marked microwavable." ?
