I had to put this in a new thread as I want everyone to see it. Anne (Anakat) has made me this absolutely wonderful cross-stitch portrait of Napoleon, using one of the photos I sent her for my siggy as a model. I have to confess I sat and cried when I opened it this morning, but it is beautiful. I do not know where I will put it yet, but it will have a special place somewhere. Anne, you are so clever, and so thoughtful. Thank you so much.

I'm glad you are pleased with it. It was interesting to do, it was the first time I had made my own chart from a photo.

I can't believe how quickly Anne did it. It is only eight weeks since Napoleon passed over the Bridge, and I posted that picture of him the same day.
