Friday's DT

Hello all. Only 2 more hours of work and I am on holidays for a week! Woooooooooohooooooooooo. The plan is to go to the cottage, but that may change at the last minute to Las Vegas. The hubby may not want to go to the cottage as my sister, neice, brother in law, mother, father and grandmother will be up there until Tuesday. We weren't planing on going until Monday anyway, but he doesn't even want to spend 1 night with my family. They drive him nuts!

Gys - are you coming to Toronto this weekend. Is Stephen feeling better?

What is everyone else to?

It's been a while since I've posted in the D.T. What can I say, life has been really busy!

I try to pop in at least once a day to try and keep up with how everyone is doing, though I don't post much.

Right now I'm pretty sick and the doctor has put me on a second round of antibiotics to see if I can kick this terrible sinus infection. The new antiobitics, which I started last night, DO NOT like me. I took it and went to bed at 9:00 and then I woke up at 11:30 and was wide awake. I couldn't go back to sleep, so I packed some (we're moving this weekend) in hopes that it would make me tired. Needless to say, it didn't work so I've been up since 11:30 last night! On top of that, they are doing a number on my stomach.

Well, that's enough complaining out of me Hope everyone is doing well and I hope everyone has a wonderful and restful holiday weekend.

I'm off and doing as little as possible. Ran out, to get next week's work schedule and cigarettes. For once, the cigarettes lasted until payday. My car is gassed up, for the workweek ahead and all of the laundry, except Bill's work clothes is done. Now, we can have a leisurely weekend, together.

TGIF everyone

I had about a zillion errands to run today, so I'm looking forward to sitting back with my feet up this evening. Maybe watch a movie if there are any good ones on Pay Per View. Anyone seen Black Hawk Down? I was thinking on watching that one maybe.

Tomorrow should be a fun day, providing the rain stays away. My hubby and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary this past Tuesday and decided to wait until this weekend to celebrate. He is the lead guitarist and back up singer in a band, and they are playing in an outdoor concert tomorrow night. They've all been practicing all day today and are pretty nervous I'm looking forward to watching them play.

After the concert we're planning on kicking back with some beer and some friends and doing a little camping. The nights are getting a lot cooler here in the last week or two, and since we'll be in a tent I've decided to bring my super warm Thermal sleeping bag

Ady.....I guess I'm responding to the Friday DT kinda late but....work has been crazy lately. I can't seem to find any time.
I'm not 100% sure of what the gameplan is for this week-end. Hubby was asked to work on sat. Thank God he said no. He is working tonight instead. The original plan was to get going early tomorrow morning and head to the Toronto Zoo. Hopefully that is still going to happen. I am taking your phone number with me and if we do get there in time, I will give you a shout. We may end up having to go straight to my step-fathers if we are way behind time.

Well guys.....I haven't posted as much as I like to this week and I really miss having the time to read up on everything. Hopefully I will be able to check in a bit more next week.

Thanks for asking about Steven, he is about the same but a little bit on the excited part because he is looking forward to the trip. We were going to cancel if he got worse but looks like he'll be okay.

I took Amber to the Dr. today...everything looked good! She is very healthy!!!

I have to work all weekend. but I get Monday off so it isn't all bad.
Not much planned since we both are working all weekend, just maybe kicking back and relaxing after work with a nice glass of wine or a blood mary. I got up early today to exercise but had to many things to do before work so I didn't get to. I will later tonight. Everyone whose off this weekend, have a great weekend and enjoy the time off!
