just have to cry a little bit

my poor laptop and my poor back and knees becuse of having to do all my business work on the desktop now. poor old laptop wont boot windows up right now, it will boot into safemode but not anything else...computer guy says i need to reload windows. and of course i dont have the disc anymore so i am working on trying to get a copy and just have to whine some about it.

it will be ok

errr, tell computer guy to check for ghost devices in safe mode.
i found 17 PCI video cards installed after removing them all, and setting the right drive back up it worked just fine. have seen it get confused over old drivers and stuff. before worth a shot anyway.

thanks. he already had me look for all sorts of stuff. nothign silly on there at all. its just being a poo poo head. lol i may go back in and look myself again for kicks....poor computer..i realy could use it right now. my knees are killing and i still have several hours of work to do

Is there a way to revert the hard drive back to when it was working right?

tried that too, wont do it, lol good old windows 98

I had that happen and for awhile I could revert it,then it just got worse and worse ends up I had a virus then the hard drive bit the dust Ater I talked to someone at Hp and they had me take everything off the back and out he told me Hard drive gone Well Duh !!!

That sucks.Just be glad you have a desk top for back up!

I can't stand a laptop, My hubby has one, to much trouble for me
