Sometimes I just think that like to sit up there and the water is an added bonus. We give Nippie new water twice a day and put ice in it and if it were up to him he would drink out of my shower and my toliet constantly. I normally keep the door closed and when he hears me open it he runs for the other end of the house and dashes in there just to get a drink. Just keep your toliet clean and don't but any of those drop in cleaners that stay in your tank for a month. Or keep the lid down.

I've always kept the lid firmly down on the loo. This was primarily to stop kamikaze dives into the toilet when my 2 persians were tiny (they were never sharpest tools in the box . . .)

Fifi still like to take a running jump and sit on the loo lid - I do worry about her falling down head first, so the lid stays down.

That is SUCH a cool pic of your kitty drinking from the bowl - and I'd agree, if the lid stays up in your house, don't put bleach down the toilet or Bloo in the cistern.

Im paranoid about my toilet, as Purdie lives in my upstairs bathroom, the lid stays firmly down! But its handy having the loo nearby, perfect for emptying the litter tray!
