There is a knock at your front door. You answer it and there stands the celebrity of your dreams! Who is it? And are they in any danger?

1. What brought you to TCS? I don't really remember. I think it was about two and half years ago that I started lurking on and off (more off than on) when we had an FELV, FIV scare with Bobby, mostly reading articles. About six months ago I started reading the forum, and decided to join.

2. Do you have your natural hair color? Yes - this time of year, dark blonde.

3. What is your favorite TV show? Firefly or Babylon 5.

4. What are your top five favorite movies? I have lots of favourites. Return of the Jedi, Serenity, Memoirs of a Geisha, Captain Correlli's Mandolin and La Jete stand out at the moment.

5. Do you drink coffee? Yes. I adore high-quality coffee, but can't drink a lot of it, so it is an occasional treat.

6. Do you miss living in the States? Yes. There are things I love about Ireland you just can't get in the States, and vice versa. There are a lot of things I miss about the States, but Ireland is definately easier to live in, in my opinion.

7. If I were baking, and you could have anything you wanted, what would that be? Cinnamon rolls!

8. What's your favorite color? grey.

9. Do you have any brothers or sisters? I have two younger sisters (26 and 24) and a younger brother (22).

10. Do you garden? A bit - very very badly.

Cinnamon tea.

No. I'm usually bare foot.

Well, sometimes I cheat and wear my ballet slippers. Once I forgot and wore them to the store. I got very wet.

- What is the last movie you saw in the theatre?
Over the Hedge I think. (Movies sometimes come out much, much later here than in the States, and that was one of them).

Oh... that's hard. Can I have two?

It would be Orlando Bloom and Sean Maher - they would be on the run from a secret cabal of crazed stalker fans, but I would protect them, and BF would make up spare beds so that they would have someplace to sleep while they stayed.

How long have you and your BF been together?
Seven years, ten months, ten days, and this morning.

What are you studying in school?
I'm doing an MA in International Studies (which is what my school calls its IR program). My thesis is 'Just War Doctrine and Humanitarian Intervention'.

What's your favorite book?
The Sandman collection probably, but I have a lot of favourites.

What color are your eyes?
It varies. They were blue until I was thirteen, and they turned green then. They vary from green-grey to grey or even (rarely) blue. They don't ever match that I'm aware of. The most common combination is green grey with amber specs (more amber on the right side than the left). About three times someone has been talking to me and actually got to watch them change. I've never gotten to see it.

Right now the left is green grey with a little amber, and the right is green with lots of amber. (I just got up to check).

Indigo Girls? I'm not sure. I have wide but not deep taste in music.

I don't think I've ever had it. If they have vanialla, probably vanialla.

Myself, sister 1, sister 2, brother.

I love shopping for antiques.

I'm not sure I've ever owned a cat, it's not a word I'm comfortable using with regard to myself. I have five now, and that's the most I've ever had. My family had cats when I was growing up, but they weren't mine.

Still only 1.

Tea sets, maps, books, jewlerly.

Silly question, but does Ireland have cat shelters?

No snakes.

Politics is less strident here (less interesting too, which is boring for a pol sci student like myself, but easier to live with).

Yes. We have one that I'm very proud of here in Limerick.

When is your birthday and where were you born?
My birthday, or "Christmas in September" as it is more formally known, is September 25th. I was born in St. Catherine's Hospital, Tralee, Co. Kerry (this hospital no longer exists - it is now the seat of local governement).


What kind of movies do you enjoy the most?
Sci-fi probably, or stuff with really beautiful colours (Captain Corelli's Mandolin, Memoirs of a Geisha, What Dreams May Come).

It would be so hard to pick!

It would probably depend on my particular obession at that point in time (they come in cycles). It would probably be either:

the Star Wars universe (and I would want to be with the Rebels on Endor for the fall of the Empire, also I would be hoping to marry Luke Skywalker.)

the Firefly 'verse (but only if I could actually be on Serenity - otherwise, what's the point?)

the Vorkosigan saga universe - I would mostly want to explore Barrayar, and I'd probably try to get into the Academy if they were admitting girls by then.

Most likely....

Hogwarts - I would go to the Harry Potter universe and study at Hogwarts.

No, and no. It's in Cork, and I never voluntarily go to Cork if I can help it.

The circle.

Only one that's been terraformed, I think. Mars, maybe - I could cope reasonably there with enough artificial atmo.

What was your favourite toy when you were a child?
My stuffed elephant. I used to get a lot of ear infections (still do) and I would put Eary's big ears over my sore ear to help me sleep.

Sandlewood, cinnamon and rosewood mixed together.

It's actually hilarious - but not suitable for a family site.

Laundry.

Currently, we don't even bother with a roller, but generally, over.
