I'm just wondering how it got into the room in the first place if it doesn't fit through any of the doors?

That's what I was wondering last night too while I was busy cursing at the darn thing when it got stuck

I acted completly normal, like nothing had happened -and so far that has worked- he hasn't noticed it yet

Maybe he'll think you are being romantic. Maybe you'll get lucky!!!

I live alone so I don't have a choice but to move things myself. I also try to be a handyman-I'm a terrible handyman, lots of holes in the wall and stuff-spackle is my best friend.

well...thankfully i didn't put any holes in the wall....uhhh....i just scraped the paint off of it a bit- but hey, i'm gonna sneak into the paint store and find a tiny can to match it and fix it.
thankfully he still hasn't noticed. he's sound asleep at the moment, so i think i'll go get some rest too
/ My mom and I are "handyladies" at our duplex
we're always trying to fix things ourselves and always messin it up
but hey, nothing wrong with being independant and trying right!

yea but think of all the anger you can work out by whacking the chair

or you can lay the chair down on its side and try to work it in side ways,
that is what we had to do with the one leather chair(normal chair) that i put in the computer room

I finally just said forget it...the chair is back in the living room....I made Colin scoot it over today to make room for the tree
I was like "oh sweetie, would you mind moving that big recliner over a bit for me, I would do it myself, but I wouldn't want to break it or anything"
worked like a charm!
he didn't suspect a thing and he moved it over

Did you try getting it though by the upper section first? like on its side pushing it in a curve through the door frame not the door side?
good luck!

I tried every way imaginable- it just won't budge with that tiny door frame
- see the reason it was moved into the living room easily is because the doorframes are wider there-so that didn't cause an issue./ I finally got frusterated with it being stuck and eventually got it moved back to the living room lol...Colin still has no clue
