My old 15 year old female cat had a quite prominent "udder sack". Might've been because she used to be pretty chubby and lost a lot of weight while battling cancer and loose skin just hung down. But then I noticed Shami who's only 5 mo. old and a male started to develop one too. Just seems like a small soft squishy sack that hangs down right in front of and between the hind legs. This normal thing for cats to have?

Well, I have four cats and I have four of them too. I guess that's a sign of either spaying, neutering, not enough exercise, good food, happy times....let's see....where was I?? Of yeah....don't think you have to worry about them.

Yup, seems pretty normal.

I actually asked the vet once when Dax was about 6 months old if it was normal too. She wasnt even chubby, but she had this little flap that would jiggle when she ran...
I asked if I should get her a miniature kitty ab-trainer...

A vet once jokingly suggested looking into a "tummy tuck" for Miss Arizona after she lost quite a few pounds.

Haha, well thanks everyone for allaying my fears. Thought it was like a hernia or something.

Something interesting I found recently. Shami kinda likes getting raspberries on his belly, and the tummy sack makes a nice "plup, plup, plup" sound, haha.
