Today was a nice sunny day with temps right under 70, so I let Jack run around in the backyard for a little bit. He had a blast of course, everytime the wind would blow the leaves on the ground, he'd chase them down and "kill" them. Goofball.

Anyway, here are some shots I got of him:

Patrolling the far edge of the yard

Stalking

Waiting for the wind to kick up some more leaves to kill

He just discovered that the leaves fall from the trees

Blurry action shot

Strutting around like he owns the place

Well, he has gotten huge. His tail is like a bat.

Last Vet visit to get his claws clipped for the show, he was just under 15 lbs.
(He absolutely hates getting his claws clipped back, so we make the Vet do it...it's Ok for him to hate the Vet...lol)

I'm pretty sure he's going to make 20lbs. His sire is 24 lbs.

Note: this is unusual for bengal cats. The males rarely exceed 15 lbs.

I do use leads on them when the situation warrants it. I.E. they could get hurt or cause trouble. In my backyard, there's really nothing for them to get in trouble with, so I let them have the freedom to run and play as they like.
Supervised the whole time by us of course.

That's one beautifull Bengal. I love the huge spots and the charcoal coloring. The 1st pic it's hard to tell if the animal is domestic or not. He's a Wild One.

in a pile of open toed shoes!
He is so handsome!
Of course I think he looks alot like my little Louie
....they have a very similar face....with the same 2 stripes from the eyes, and the rings around the front paws, and the stripe down the back & to the tail, and the ringed tail, and the silver tops of the paws, but black bottomed paws....

Jack is one handsome boy!!! I am shocked to see that he weighs so much! He does NOT look that big! He looks very fit and in shape!

I'm not ashamed to admit that Jack is fighting for my affections as my favorite bengal on the site right now, but as far as I know he's the ONLY silver bengal on the site and they're my favorites.

He's so gorgeous.

I think nial has Miss Spotty Paws too - Silver bengal.

Nial: how do you keep your kitties from running away while you supervise their play? I have an open space for a back yard and would love to play with Stoli and Luxor with out a harness but just don't think it's possible.
