Our young male cat was practicing his throat grip on our new 18 wek old Serengeti. He was doing this roughly and I was actually concerned. Well Tika evidently gave him a pop in the eye and his eye apeared injured and half closed. We gave this some time and some Terramycine in the one eye and it looked a lot better in about a week. Now both Beau's eyes are runny. Is this something I should be concerned about? Or should I allow some more time for this to clean up? TIA

Oh heck
well after experiencing 6 weeks of meds & vet checks for a eye injury ( a lot worse than yours ) all I would urge you to do is take Beau to your vet.....eyes are delicate things and can soon "go the wrong way"

Good luck and keep us posted

If I read you correctly, you gave him the Terramycin for a week.....and now both eyes are running?

This is a job for the vet.

I gave him that three or four days in a row. Then sporadicly a few times. We're going to bring him along to the vet with Tika on Monday. (she already has an apointment for shots) Thanks All!

Please let us know how your baby makes out. We will all have our fingers crossed, noses too, eyes, whatever it takes to hope for a good outcome.

We took Beau along to the vet with Tika. No eye injury. Evidently upper respitory infection. She gave all four of our cats madicine to take once a day. I'll be so glad when I can see he feels better. Thanks all !
