Gizmo is on the cover

My book is now available on amazon.com and if anyone is interested in viewing the kitty cartoon cover, you can see it there. Gizmo posed for the cover, was the inspiration for the half-title, and appears in several sketchbook illustrations inside the book.
She certainly has earned her keep during the past year.
Anyway, the book is called PREPARE TO BOARD.

Thank you kindly. Gizmo insisted on 'helping' me draw. she likes to sit on my lap at the computer desk but she INSISTS on sitting at the animation desk, and she plays with the pencils and pats the paper. So I told her that she would have to be on the cover.

And if I think she's cute, perhaps others will too and then they will buy the book. After all, it's a book on character design. If the cover is not appealing, it sort of defeats the purpose.

So I'm on tenterhooks til the thing is out in March, but so far the ctiticism has been positive.

The beagle/basset taking notes on the cover is my dog Peaches, who died in 1982.
