I gave the kids a piece of turkey neck. Squeak decided it was his.

How can you not feel sad when you look at that face? Squeak needs a gud whack in Lucy's opinion.

Haha, not to worry. Squeak got tired of gnawing on it, Freddy has it now.

I wondered how long it would take for somebody to say that.

I regret that I shared this photo and would remove the entire post if I was able to do so.

Why did you take the picture down?! It was a cute picture. I only asked a question, meaning no offense, because I know that humans eating raw fowl can get sick.

Ohhhh I hate that you are regretting posting a pic. Is there a problem? Is it in regards to the "raw" comment? There are several people on here that feed raw and very successful with the kitties in doing it. Please dont feel uncomfortable

Ok, no problem. I guess I am being overly sensitive. Cats have an entirely different digestive system than humans. Raw meat is their natural diet. I actually feed my cats a combinations of different foods, not only raw.

Yes, I took it down because of the comment and because 40+ people looked at my post but only two commented. I though after the one comment that people were looking at the picture and gasping "OMG, she's feeding her cats a RAW TURKEY NECK!!!". LOL, like I said, I'm probably over-sensitive but I know a lot of people have big problems with raw feeding. Thank you for the reassurance that at least some people don't think I'm killing my cats.

Please put it back up. Like I said my comment wasn't meant to offend. I was just taken by surprise and maybe worded my question in a less than desirable manner. It obviously made you uncomfortable and for that I apologize. It was not my intention at all. I thought your picture was very cute.

A lot of people (i.e. me!) tend to look at all the pics in this forum and not post! *Blushes*

I would love to see the pic of your babies fighting over a turkey neck!

You can feed your cat as much raw stuff as you like, they don't have cooking in the wild!

I looked at the pic about 8 times today, it was cute
But I was at work and can't post on every thread I look at or it would be noticed. I've had threads with loads of views that have sunk without trace, so I wouldn't take it personally. I thought it was a great pic though

Also there are a lot of people who are not even members, who view threads on here. So dont worry about the amount who look and dont respond. Theres a lot who are still celebrating Thanksgiving, too, that wont have a chance to view it, unless you put it back. Let us see your raw turkey neck eating babies!

not everyone is going to like a pic, and not everyone is going to post a response to something
really, just put it back up. If some people disagree so what.

I understand that. It wasn't a great picture, I just thought the look on Freddy's face was cute. Of course I also know others won't enjoy it as much as I did because he's not their cat.
Like I said, I was just sensitive after the one comment that I thought was negative. It made me uncomfortable. Natalie_ca, I know now that it wasn't your intent. It's all good.

And now that it's a big deal I'm embarrassed
to put the photo back but here it is.

My favorite part of the picture is the little wet trail the turkey neck leaves. You can just see him dragging it over there to have a munch.

I'm glad you put the picture up because I do think that Freddy's expression is priceless.

Your Freddy and my Abby look a great deal alike. Freddy seems to have more white on his hind legs than Abby does, but for the rest, they could be twins.
