To keep Anya happy AND to keep her off the stove I had to cook like this:

Brian walked in on me making frosting, laughed, and ran and got the camera.

She's my sweet cuddle girl every now and then, and who could turn her away when she wants to snuggle???

Maybe just a little bit.
But what fun are they if you don't spoil them?

A human's gotta do what a human's gotta do!
What a cutie!
I often have to begin my chores with one wrapped around my neck.

I dont have enough arms to hold them all. When Dianna was little she jumped on the counter next to the stove just as the burner lit. I could smell burning cat hair (it is worse than human hair smell) and freaked. We were lucky that she just singed her whiskers. Made a frantic call to the vet and asked if cat whiskers grow back. He didn't know, no one had ever asked before. Well cat whiskers will grow back and now we all stay well away from the stove, but playing in the sink is another story.

Fortunately mine are at the point where they don't get on the counters and stovetop when I'm there. But I've learned to sort laundry one handed because Lucy wants to be held when I'm doing that. And there are other times when I seem to be doing things one handed.

hehe, no I can't say that I have

I do however have a full audience watching, or maybe they are supervising.

I have fainting issues and when I'm cooking or doing anything in the kitchen I tend to have to sit in an old secretary chair. I always have to make sure that paws and tails aren't in the way when I wheel around.

I keep pots on the stove so Gizmo doesn't jump there, and try to keep her out of the kitchen. To her credit, she rarely goes there.
Your little kitty looks cute, but I'd be a little worried about her jumping suddenly...

I think I may have to try carrying stoli around with me - that may make him happy when i'm cooking something that's not for him!
