We have these critters where I live too. There is one that has been seen several times in our neighborhood. Once he was in our backyard. That is a little too close. He got across our enclosure somehow and was in the enclosure with Max, Muffin, and Speedboat. Too close for comfort since they eat domestic cats.

We have them all over down here.A few summers ago, we had 1 living on our hillside.
