Why on earth do they do this !!! Yukkkkk

My goodness, I just went in my bedroom and here was Dunkin with the hugest gob of hair in his mouth, he had gotten it out of the trash can, I brush the kitties every night and of all the cats Cammie's the one that sheds the most, he was trying to suck it down as fast as he could How sick I told him and I grabbed him and took it away and now he's running through the whole upstairs beeping like a Crazy Cat. Why on earth do they want to eat it? I guess So they know I'll have a job later cleaning it up or what?

My cats don't seek out hair but it's a great indicator of whos been chasing whom. LOL Being that one is mostly white and the other is black. So, who ever has a mouth full or contrasting hair was usually the instigator.

Mine do it too! I've seen Tiger actually picking it out of the brush.. I think he's stocking up on his hairballs just to redeem them at 3 in the morning in the hallway, right before I get up to pee and find it with bare feet

That eating the hair well someone elses hair is almost I said almost as bad as the Dogs eating horse poo poo , and pieces of trimmed horse hoof

If Jaffa comes across a clump of cat hair on the carpet (his or Mosi's) he will eat it. He's always done that but neither of my other cats have ever done it.

Kitters does not seek out her own missing fur though she helps clean out the tub drain of daddy's hair about once every two weeks!! Freak!!!!
