Since my SIL has so many people-this is what I'm guessing....
2 Turkeys, potatoes, dressing, gravy, rolls and butter, carrots, green bean casserole, carmel apple salad, cranberries, pickles, olives, broccoli hot dish, a couple jello salads, pumpkin, apple pies, something chocolate , my baked pears.
That's all I know for sure but there will be about another dozen items I'm forgetting!!

Well, my mom got a 23lb. turkey (for 6 of us). We'll have mashed potatoes, sweet potatoe casserole (w/ brown sugar and marshmallows), I think she said asparagas, a few pies (pumpkin and pecan most likely), cranberry relish (home made) and stuffing and I'm not sure what else but I'll be helping her cook tomorrow.

There's only going to be 6 adults and two toddlers at our house for TG tomorrow. We are having a turkey of course, a prime rib roast, mashed potatoes, augratin potatoes, candied yams, and veggies. Oh and lets not forget the pumpking and cherrieo pies.

Wow now I know why I decided I was taking a brake this year... My list would have been like that also, but when it's just 1 or 2 you don't need all that
Although I do miss the cooking
Not

We are having a brined turkey that dh is going to grill, Rachael Ray's Apple and Onion Stuffin' muffins, mashed cauliflower with sour cream, my homemade cranberry sauce, homemade turkey gravy, homemade pumpkin pie with unsweetned vanilla whipped cream, plus rolls for dh. oops I forgot - also homemade zucchini cream soup

Breakfast is a low carb - omelet "sandwiches" using a non-bread concoction that bakes up like bread

Snacks will be my homemade sausage balls, and kalamata olive and cream cheese stuffed celery sticks.

Usually we'd also have a green salad and asparagus, but I toned it down a bit this year.

Sounds like everyone is gunna eat alot tomorrow.

I don't care for turkey much, but the CAT will take off your hand to get a piece. lol At this time of the year,

I always think of what I am grateful for..and there is quite a bit. My health, the health of my family, my current financial security, the fact that I have a roof over my head, and that I am allowed to have pets there. I work in Social Services, and many of the people who come into our doors do not have what I have. Everyone have a great thanksgiving and share the love!

There's no place like home
For breakfast:
Breakfast burritos
Cherry turnovers

Noon appetizers:
Shrimp cocktail

For dinner:
Smoked turkey
Crockpot stuffing
Mashed potatoes
Mushroom gravy
Fresh broccoli
Dinner rolls
And for desert, a store bought pumpkin pie!

I don't have an oven tomorrow so it is going to be a weird meal. First year that we go without green bean casserole (it's just not the same in a microwave).

Those menus sound so delicious. My BIL is doing the whole meal and doesn't want anyone to contribute so I don't know the side dishes. I'm pretty sure that we are having turkey. And if I do it right, freshly baked rosemary bread. It is rising in the fridge now and I will bake it first thing tomorrow.
