So I am going to my boyfriends with Maia (not a new thing for us), And find out that one of his roomates promised a friend he would watch his dog............Maia hatres dogs, but maybe she could deal as long as the dog does'nt chase her! It's a large loft with plenty of room so if need be they can be seperated and have alternate run of the main area. I would hate to confine either one, it's just not fare! So I found out a bit more info. about the doggy, Lolita, who sounds precious, Border Terrier, 6 yrs. old, very shy, but no cat experience. I think it sounds good, especially since I am the animal lover in the situation, besides Lolita's owner who won't be there and expressed concern for Lolita when he found out there was going to be a cat around! I just want Maia to have the choice of coming out to the main area, if she does'nt because of Lolita, her choice, or the opposite............
Does anyone have any tips or experience with border terriers temperament? I know Maia will listen to me, and she will attack if threatened! I am planning on giving comfort time to Lolita when she comes and also want her to like and trust me before intro........
