That is the part that scares me most about the thought of buglars - what if the cats get hurt/scared/run off? It's a terrible thing to have happen in any case, but I feel such relief that you and yours are all safe.
That actually happened when my old neighbours got broken into, she had a new kitten that was separated from the other cats and we finally found him in the fire exit stairs hours later

Thankfully you found the baby. You must have all been so scared when that happened. We have a baby here at the moment too, and Sláine can get really frightened of people.
How terrifying.

Oh I'm sorry that happened, I have never had anything like that.. I'm glad at least that they didn't get much and all the kitties are ok. This time of the year is the worst people seem more desperate...Hope you are going to be ok it's a terrible thing to feel like someone was there..

I am so sorry to hear this happened to you. I was burgled once and it is a horrible feeling, they only took a rented VCR and a cheap camcorder, but it's so distressing that someone has been in your home, violation is the right word.

It's horrible about your jewellery, anything like that has sentimental value and that's infinitely worse than any monetary aspect. Thank goodness that your beloved pets are OK though, that would always be my main fear. Plenty of hugs and cuddles tonight I expect

That's horrible! I understand a little bit, how you feel. My car got broke into a few years back and it affected me for a long, long time. They got a CD player and probably about 20-30 CD's (more expensive then the cd player!). Then they tried to hot wire my car and were unsucessful. So they went across the street and hot wired the neighbors car and stole it. So while I felt lucky I still had my car, I also felt unsafe and very violated. For months, every time a car would go by or someone would walk down the street, I'd jump up and watch. Just a side note... the neighbors car had all her christmas presents in it, which were never recovered. The car was recovered in poor condition, at the scene of a robbery. The robbers left it running in front of a 7-Eleven when they were running from police.

Oh E that is awful. I really hope you get some peace, and I hope the thieves have an awful holiday. I hate Christmas theives more than any other kind. How can you feel ok about stealing someone's belongings and giving them to your loved ones or selling them. What inconsiderate, evil people. I am so glad you had Magnum there to ward them off!!! Many wellwishes and peace vibes coming your way from me and my fluffball.

I'm glad you and the BF are safe, the fact that they took the change and not the credit card makes me wonder if it was some dumb kids, who didn't know what they were doing. Glad nothing happened to your babies!!

I'm so sorry to hear about the burglary. I know the feeling of violation as my apartment was broken into when I was on vacation many years ago. The main thing is that you, Matt and all the kitties are safe. Good for Magnum if he scared them off. Here are more hugs
and vibes for all of you.

Sweetie, I know just how you feel. When we lived in our last house, someone was breaking in when we were out of town. They weren't stealing anything either, they were just living there while we were gone!! Eating from our fridge, taking showers, watching movies and God knows what else...

I'm so sorry to hear that this has happened. You're in my thoughts and prayers and I'm glad to know that everyone is ok. If you need to talk just drop me a pm ok?

Oh Eithne, I'm so sorry this happened to you.
I'm glad you're all ok, for the most part. It's such a horrible feeling; I know it took me a long time to get over being violated like that. *hugs*

Bravo to Magnum for being such a brave boy, scaring those idiots off.

So sorry about this, it's a horrible feeling, it happened at my parents when I still lived home years ago and you just feel so violated, it still bothers me to think about it. But thank God you are all okay and the kitties were safe!
