Does anyone know what this could be?

So on my left leg i bruised my self pretty badly about 6 weeks ago, finally 2 weeks ago the bruise went away but all of a sudden that sport started hurting terribly, out of nothing i decided to feel around and i feel a ball that is the size of a pea floating around , i have no idea what it is, the pain isnt there anymore but the pea is.

I know i have to go to the doctor as soon as i have time, but do any of you know what it could be??

I have no idea what it could be. Could you maybe get in to the doctor this week to have it checked out?

i'm soo sorry sweetie
I feel you on the money thing- i'm broke too. Could you maybe take a picture of only the bruise and see if any of the doctors on some of the reputable medical sites could give you any information?

Ask the doctor if you can put off paying for ten days, whatever, til payday, or if you can write a post-dated check. My doctors will do that if you've been with them for a little while (long enough to get to know you, not your first visit). If it is your first visit - I would still try to get an appointment, explaining things as reasonably as possible.

It's probably nothing too serious - but if it was Kaylee or Teufel, would you wait?

DH whacked his hip into a car door a couple of years back and it came out in a whopping bruise, and when that went away, there was still a lump that wouldn't go away caused by trauma to the area.

A few weeks later it was still there, so I started massaging it which was horribly painful for him, but it went away within a week of that. I think the massage helped break it down.

It could be a cyst, but I would be VERY concerned if it was painful. That possibly could indicat that some damage had been done and some internal bleeding could have happened.

You do NOT want to wait too long to get the doctors.

I had something like that in a certain area (I posted about it) it turned out to be an abcess. The doctor said it might have been from an ingrown hair or even a scratch. So it might be that. It could also be like a ball of blood. Buddy had that after I hit him with the car.

Fwan what it probably is when you get hit hard enough to bruise you bleed under the skin the old blood some times takes months to be reabsorbed back into your body. I bet thats what the lump is. Many years ago I was hit in the eye with a baseball , cracked my cheek bone and a big black eye. I had a lump on my cheek bone that took a year to finally go away. The doc said it was blood under the skin that would in time be reabsorbed.
If it gets worse though I would get it looked at.

Ooh Fran, sounds fatal. Nice knowin ya though. :p Nah, I have no clue what it is but I feel your pain. I had a lovely iceskating fall over a month ago and my knee is all still swollen and kinds of burns and is oddly shaped. I haven't got it looked at either. Keep us posted when you find out the diagnosis!!

well i think its funny because i had been working for over 12 hours and on this paticular day we had to go to a big department store to pay for my stove, anyway i told my dad to stop at the "big shoe store" on that road, we stopped i tried on some boots and realised i had a huge bruise! it was black!

Its not painful so i can put it off a little longer.

Youre right if it was T&K i probably wouldnt wait! I have been watching them very closely every night i come home, my mother fed them alot of treats so they were getting fat, but now.. its been a week since she is gone and they are losing some weight! But this may also be due to the stress they have had recently? IDK maybe i should spoil them with more treats?
