My sweet Molly,

Two years ago this week, we lost you. It was one of the most painful experiences of my life, and as your anniversary draws near, I have been weeping for you again. I just went through your things, and saw bits of your beautiful multi-colored fur, and read the many cards we received when we lost you. You were so loved.
We received this beautiful poem, and with all of our hearts we hope to see you again.

And God asked the feline spirit
Are you ready to come home?
Oh, yes, quite so, replied the precious soul
And, as a cat, you know I am most able
To decide anything for myself.
Are you coming then? asked God
Soon, replied the whiskered angel
But I must come slowly
For my human friends are troubled
For you see, they need me, quite certainly.
But don't they understand? asked God
That you'll never leave them?
That your souls are intertwined. For all eternity?
That nothing is created or destroyed?
It just is....forever and ever and ever.

Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am.....forever and ever and ever.

With this being Thanksgiving week, I want to tell you again how thankful we are to have had you in our lives.

Karen as you near this painful anniversary. Molly is always with you, love like that doesn't just end with the last breath. It has to go on and on forever, until you are reunited again.

Oh Karen, that poem was beautiful

Molly holds a very special place in your heart and in your soul. As the poem said, the love you shared can not be created nor destroyed.. it just is.
Each and every day she is watching over you and Abby. As she looks down on you, I can imagine how happy it makes her to know that you were able to open your home to Abby and love her as much as you do

I know that this is a tough time for you, but please find comfort in those thoughts and know that we are all here for you and will be thinking of you during this time.

Molly was such a georgous girl and she was so lucky to have a mommy as amazing as you

RIP sweet Molly.
You will always be remembered.

Such a beautiful tribute, and a truly beautiful girl.

Rest in peace and play Molly. Remember to look down in love on those who miss you so terribly right now.

Oh Karen...
Your tribute to Molly started my tears and they won't stop.

The love that you share with your beloved girl must be eternal...
Why else would such pure love exist?

Your Mommy misses you precious Molly

The pain of loss never goes away, it just gets more bearable as you get used to it over time. That was a beautiful poem, and she lives on in your heart and memories.

Hi Karen,

As I have just lost my cat of 17 years last Friday and have been mourning myself - I feel for you. As I watched Pippi dying I knew it was time for him to go but nonetheless - it is so hard to say good bye. I know your cat was loved and cared for tenderly and lived a good life with you. What more could anyone ask for. What a lucky cat Molly was to have an owner who loved her so much as you.

Denise
