after 9 frostings

It took me ages to 'defrost' myself

Does that mean the people who frosted pat&alex can send another frosting to make up for the one that got wasted?

PS is there a mod who can give willies love a frosting?

So we can we agree now that everyone's been frosted and it was very cute, and now we can all take it out of our signatures if we wish to without fear of future frosting?

I didn't want to bother with it, but after 4 frostings, I gave up and annoyed other people with it

Well, then I guess the rule about not discussing this in open threads has not been adhered to. Part of the reason it's a `private' pm game, well, was supposed to be, anyway.

The idea is that if you have anything in your sig then you're already `done' and people don't continue to pm you.

This wasn't supposed to be something that made people grumpy. It has been done on other forums, yes, and is something fun to be part of, despite the fact that no, it's not terribly original!

It was also approved by the mods, just in case there was a risk of anything untoward as a result. I would just suggest to those who are still frosting to make sure that even if an icon is not in the siggy there might be some text instead.

I'd really hope that it doesn't turn into something bothersome and irritating for people

Well....gee....I thought that it was kind of cute. But I only belong to a couple of forums, so I don't see it everyday.

I kinda liked being frosted several times, like a really fattening cake

Me neither. I thought it was cute. I was thrilled to be frosted twice!
(that happened mostly cause I wasn't paying attention to my PM's the first time....
)
While I do say that, I also completely understand that this kind of stuff just isn't for some folks. I myself am not big on the whole forward this to 10 people thing in e-mails, but this was different (for me at least) and it was only 3 people so I didn't mind.
If people don't want to partake in this kind of PM stuff - can't they turn their PM's off MOD's? Just a question, but I thought you could do that cause I tried to forward a frost to someone and got a message of something to the effect of "you can't PM this person, they have chosen not to accept PM's".

Okay, after an interesting private, I am back in for one last comment.

I do NOT object to frosting! I think it is a lot of fun for those that wish to do so, and I appreciated being invited/thought of. However, it got out of control for me, so I thought I would politely request no more...after 4, after my pm box being full at least twice, knowing I was disappointing by not participating, I thought I would point out I'd been frosted (not supposed to be more than once), and request no further.

Telling me to just add the image so folks would know isn't the point since I love my sig as it is, sans frost image. Call me grinch, grump, or call me independant...just not my cup of tea.

Not mad at anyone, not due to anything other than I just don't have time for this kind of thing, hate to disappoint and want off the list of folks who can be frosted

That's all folks. Unsubscribing from my thread again. You'll find me posting in recipes/shopping/toys/treats/health issues messages.

Oohhh that's no good - people should not be pm-ing you about this. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I don't think you are being grumpy at all. You are perfectly able to say you don't want to be frosted more than once - I mean, you are not a grinch you are allowed to not want lots of frostings!

I just don't have time for this kind of thing
After this post, I'm sure everyone knows that you don't wish to be Frosted.
It's just a cute way of including everyone on the board and making them feel as though they are aprt of the TCS family circle.
Telling me to just add the image so folks would know isn't the point since I love my sig as it is, sans frost image
adding the I've been Frosted sign to your siggy does nothing to take away the beauty of your siggy. It's only a game.
Again, I'm sure members will not Frost you any more. And if there is a mistake, by all means ...........delete the PM

You'll find me posting in recipes/shopping/toys/treats/health issues messages.
I'm glad that you will still participate in the forums

I put the image in my sig, but I didn't pass it along to anyone. I'm not one for having a sig, but I also didn't want to keep getting PM's about it either, so I put the image in my sig.

I'm still pretty new here and don't really know anyone and sit on the outside looking in, so I was happy that someone included me

I did notice that some people have put it up in their avitar spot, so mabey if some one doesn't want it in their siggy (even though it just goes to the side and can be removed when every one has been frosted) Then it will show that they have been frosted and that should stop the multiple PM's?
I was glad to get frosted, it came from some one I didn't really know, and I thought it was neat that they only had to send it to 3 people and they sent it to me, I don't know very many people on here at all, and liked being included
I put it in there as soon as I saw it, and I haven't gotten any others, so people are just looking for some one they don't think have been hit already

Woops....
Guilty as charged.

I thought it was fun.

I certainly respect the fact that not everyone wants to add it to their siggy.
Thanks for speaking up Pat.

I just got mine tonight and Whoops! I frosted Arcadian girl because I didn't see it on her siggy. Sorry. I'm a little behind the times!
That is a cute sign! thanks! I was wondering where everyone got it from and was beginning to feel left out
