Today, my sweet Trixter has thrown up THREE times!
He was also having trouble going poop, so I gave him some castor oil (as recommended by a vet up here when he got really constipated aug, 05). It has seemed to work in the past, and didn't cause vomiting before. He had gotten sick once before the oil, and then twice afterwards, but it did help him poop a little.

My Trixter is a diet controlled diabetic, and today, an hour or so after the first puke, he also had a slightly elevated blood sugar level. It was 110, when since he has been off of the insulin he hasn't gone over 84 or so that I know of.

Do any of your kitties ever have days where they puke a few times? I am really hoping its just a random upset tummy day, like we all have once in a while. But I am worried about my baby, especially after almost losing him only about 4 months ago. He has been doing SO well, and now this. He didnt get into anything, and he seemed to feel ok, other than the throwing up and slight constipation.

Please send prayers and get better vibes. My poor baby.
I am worried.

Much love.

I would bring him to the vet just to be sure. With Gheery every little thing I noticed off we would go to the vet. Thankfully he didnt mind and niether did they. But anyways. Lily will have days were she throws up alot. She does it every once in a while. And its always all over my bed and floor. But since its normal for her I dont worry about it and just clean it up. But since it isnt normal for Trixster I would have him checked out.

Thanks for the reply. Trixter used to throw up alot when he was eating dry food. Since the switch to canned, he hasn't thrown up hardly at all. This is probably the second time, but I got worried cause it was three times throughout the day. If he is still throwing up tomorrow, i will make him an appt.

Edited to add: you are SO lucky your GA didnt mind the vets! Trixter HATES it and the last time he was there it was hell for him, LOTS of pokes and two days in the cage (he bit EVERY single tech and the dr to the point of blood!) because he was there to start insulin, so of course a curve was done, meaning blood drawn every couple hours, plus insulin shots, etc and then he hardly ate while he was there. So I also worry that his BGs will skyrocket from vet stress and send him out of his diabetic remission. Ughhh, I sure hope he feels better tomorrow!

Bagheera spent so much time at the vets the whole time I had him that it was his second home. He loved all them at the vets. Now my girls umm thats another story. Lily gets home visits now (which isnt cheap), Annie Rose bites and scratches and Kitten pees every where.
I hope Trixter feels better soon. I personally wouldnt worry to much if he was just puking but when a cat is constipated it always worries me. If hes pooing and eating normally tomorow I wouldnt worry.
