You're welcome. I was surprised to see that you can order them from amazon.com too.

Bummer! I love that store though. They have such an interesting variety of international foods.

Huh! Maybe they make them slightly different for exporting, like they do with beer. For example, a Molsen's in Canada is NOT the same as the Molsen's we get in the USA.

Regardless, I'm VERY happy right now!!!

I don't know about the green tea Kit Kat though.
Ohhh...
Tim Tams.. Last year me and Danielle did a little sweet switch and she sent me Tim Tams and I sent her Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Air Heads and Sugar Daddys I think... I fell in love!

Because the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

BTW, I'm sure you all know this, but it's worth repeating: Never ever give chocolate to your cats, it's like a super potent and potentially toxic drug for them, since their digestive system cannot break down certain compounds, and that goes double for dogs. I've also been warned about garlic and also, never leave copper pennies where cats can get at them and give them a lick.
You know... I heard from Little Richard that "the grass is always greener on the other side, but just as hard to cut!!!"

Its almost gone so I am trying to ration them. He says he doesn't know why Ilike it so much. I don't do a whole lot of chocolate here becasue it is too sweet. It makes my teeth hurt!
We moved to Germany with a chocolate-freak Boxer, who immediately fell in love with Milka. I still remember the time my m-i-l bought some very expensive Swiss chocolate on sale for him, and was highly insulted when he turned his nose up at it. My parents brought some Hershey's Chocolate Buds for him on their first visit, knowing how much he loved them, but he wanted Milka!

Oh this is so true. When I was living in New York we always used to get these wonderful treats from my grandmother. I moved here and I went crazy eating sweets. There are the chocolates with liquor in the center like Denice said, coconut candy, mango, and so many others!

I think the best is a native fruit called 'Quenepa' This is to die for. It has a thin green outer covering. You take that off and inside is a nice sweet tasting fruit. You only eat the outside, kind of like a pulp because in the middle is the hard core about a nickel size in diameter. I hate that they are only by season. I believe they start to fruit in May/June (but they suck at this time) and are at its best in July.

There are TWO chocolate shops within three blocks of me! One sells Belgian imports as well as make their own chocolates, while the other, Truffle Treasures, has absolutely to die for hot chocolate, truffles, bars ... It's my favourite store!!!!! Yes indeedy. I get fat just walking by! (Not that I already am ....
) And as for hard to find stuff ... There are two places downtown called Sugar Mountain. They sell every candy imaginable. It's such a great place to gorge!
My favourites are those Heath Bars. I remember having them in New York, but they are nearly impossible to find otherwise, except at Sugar Mountain. I also love those Sugar Rocks or whatever, the pure cane sugar. The place is a death trap, but it's great!

Right now I'm eating a huge, delicious hazelnut milk chocolate Lindt bar .... oh the sin .... oh the taste ...!!!! *dies*

I'd partipate too!!
Also if there are local chocolate shoppes in your towns they quality is pretty good. One store will sell bulk amounts of Belgium chocolate if you want to make your own vs the bulk chocolate made in Milwaukee, WI which you can my 10 pounds for $16!!

I think a swap would be a fun idea!! We have a few stores around here that sell 'off the wall' & hard to find candy/chocolates.... I just never get any because I don't wanna break the seal- I won't be able to stop!

BUT if it's for someone else.......... I may as well pick up some for myself to try!

Ok cool. You guys may think I'm lame but all I want is one big bag of cheetos and one of Cheqs mix (forgot how you spell it). I went to college in Virginia and I reaaallly miss them! They were my favourite snack in the states!

In London our crisps (or chips as you guys call them) are not as good but our chocolate is great! I would personally recomend Kitkat chunky, flake, glaxay, smarties,Mars, kinder bueno... Or if some one knows what they want I could look into getting that too. Let me know!

Well heck, I like chocolate from here in the US...Woodhouse chocolate truffles (dark chocolate of course) are exquisite for one, See's chocolates have a good rep, and I am always a fan of Emily's brand dark chocolate covered macadamia nuts.

Hmmm..dagoba brand organic chocolate is from Oregon...and super, super good.

Ohhhhh... the cherry vanilla dark chocolate from Dagoba is the BEST! There's only one store in our area that carries them, and I go out of my way to get them.

I'd love to do a chocolate swap. That would be great fun.
