So I searched the other forums but couldn't find any answers.... One of my new babies is grinding his teeth. It doesn't happen all the time- but every once in a while it will sound like he is crunching some food when he hasn't eaten. Any thoughts or experience with this?

Yes, I was told he is 15 months.

I've raised 4 other kittens and I've never seen this before. Should I take him to the vet or should I let it run it's course for now?

Thanks!

It may not be a bad idea to run him to see his vet - let the pro look into his mouth - just to make sure everything is A-OK in there. It is probably the beginnings of teething and things might be a little loose/uncomfortable in there so he is probably just reacting to that. But, it really does bring a better sense of comfort (not only to you but in the case there actually is a problem, also to your kitten) to know for sure. Why not let his vet take a look-see?
