Well i cant believe how much Snowys kittens have grown, they have tripled their birth weight now and are doing really well. Snowy is great with them. The black one has fully opened his eyes and the other two are part open.

Is the ginger kitten male or female?

You might call him/her Toffee, for the colour...or perhaps Butterscotch? I once tried to adopt a kitten who looked just like your little one and called it the latter name.

Its a male.
We have a hamster called Toffee, he's white with a toffee coloured patch on his head. I like Butterscotch but Michaela ( the boss of the house, apparantly) doesn't. What a spoil sport she is.
She will do this
if i call him something she doesn't like, yet SHE can't think of any names, funny that isn't it??????

We had a long haired solid Ginger cat when I was a kid. My mother named him Klondike

How adorable!! We hand raised a litter of 4 from 10 days old and yours look just like ours when we first took them on (their mother died). We had 2 black and 2 gingers with that litter.

We've had so many ginger cats over the years - the feral cats in my old neighborhood were either ginger or torties for the most part. We named all of the ones that we neutered and some of the ones that we could never trap but came by from time to time. Here's some of the names that we used (for the ferals, regardless if we tamed them or not). You'll notice that we ran out of names so started going by colors, musicians, irish names, or just things that fit their personality.

Cross Eyed Larry
Pale Face (he was a buff ginger)
Cross Eyed Mary
Stumpy (1/2 tail)
Bob Marley
Pinky
Ruby
Red
Scarlett
Angus
Sean
Patrick
John, Paul, George and Ringo (Ringo turned out to be a girl)
Morrison
Hendrix
Lucky Pierre
Jake
Elwood
Spanky
Oscar

I'm sure I'm missing quite a few!

Well, if Butterscotch and Toffee are out, there's

Rusty

Blue (Australian slang for a redheaded man)

Paprika

or just names that have nothing to do with his colour
I like some of the names in this thread. I often wonder what I'd have called Gizmo if she had not arrived already named. I suspect Krazy Kat, though Knickers (or Pants) was a possibility since she wears little white panties...

I'm curious to know what name you decide on for the ginger kitty.
