Somethings wrong!

My dog has a BIG swelling on the left side of his face. It is bleeding. He is drinking water and eating. We are gonna take him to the vet. His name is jasper.




HAS THIS EVER HAPPENED TO YOU?
And what is it?

My first guess would be a bite that's gotten infected.

It could be anything--- a infected bite or scratch, an ingrown whisker Only the vet will know for sure. Good luck,to you and Jasper

The vet said another dog bit him. He is on antibiotics. He has the cone....

Aww, I'm sorry to hear this. Was he near other dogs where he could have gotten bitten??? Poor baby...........

I agree it sounds like a bite that has gotten infected. A friends dogs head recently swelled up and the vet said it was an allergy to a wasp sting. This would not explain the blood though. It sounds like a bite from another dog. Please take our dog to the vet ASAP and let us know how he is
