I wanted to post a picture here but there isn't a "manage attachments" button in this forum. So how are y'all posting pictures here?

We all use a host site to put photos on here, such as Photobucket.com

You load your photos on there, and then paste the IMG tag in your posts!

Then you get your photos on here, but its not taking up bandwidth on this site!

Oh I see. Thanks. Well here's the picture I wanted to post. Nothing horribly exciting I just thought it was cute. I found this little baby in my back yard. In case some of you don't know, it's a Desert Tortoise. They are a protected species so this little one is going to Game and Fish today.

There actually is a manage attachments option, but I think you have to be on here awhile and get a certain number of posts. Might wanna check out the Usergroups stickies and read up on it.

Nope, they don't stay that small; it's just a baby. Desert Tortoises get between 9-15" in length and can weigh 8-15 lbs. Here's more info if you're interested: http://www.desertusa.com/june96/du_tort.html

I don't remember that Kleenex commercial.....now that's gonna bug me lol.

Neat! that link was very interesting, I can't believe they can live to be 100 years old

It's the commercial where the monk saves al lthe animals and then blows his nose in the virus killing tissue
I think its the first scene where he turns over a little tiny turtle

There used to be SO MANY around here, that they would gather them up and give them away at gas stations......That was a long time ago. There are hardly any more around. People and disease killed them off in my area. I live So. Cal, Hi desert...SO nice to see a tiny baby tortise again!

Ohhh, now I know the commercial! Must confess I don't remember the turtle though. I'm sure I'll notice it the next time I see the commercial.

You know, now that you mention it I think I vaguely remember them doing that around here too. Could be just my imagination though. That would have been just a few years ago...

Thanks to all of you who have looked and commented.
