I have been searching for a new bike since I have gotten more into riding! I have a Wal-mart bike right now and it really isn't safe for me to keep riding it since I know the pedals don't stay on well and it just isn't the right bike, its to big and not exactly trail riding quality. So I went to a local bike shop and he recommened a Giant Boulder and I did some research and decide that was NOT for me. I have decided I want a Giant Yukon! So many good review and I don't think I read one negative review. Now I just have to save the $500 to get it!

My husband got into mountain bikes and I can tell you that while $500 is a lot of money, it is quite reasonable for a bike. He was trying to convince me he needed one that was $3000. (Didn't do a good job of convincing yet).

Make sure you get a lesson in how to take wheels on and off with disc brakes when you get it!! Otherwise they rub and it's a real pain!

Nice bike though!! I have a Specialized Hardrock Pro Disc http://www.specialized.com/OA_MEDIA/...isc_Blue_l.jpg which is a really nice bike as well, and I also paid about the $500 mark. It's a great bike to ride, and I've had no problems with it whatsoever so far.
