Another sorry from me...

......for not being here much lately.

It seems that life has just all been a bit too hard for the last six months, and I also feel like a bit of a fraud coming here and hanging out when I don't physically have any cats at the moment.

But to update you all (whom I've missed a lot!), things are better, the new job has settled down and the evil witch of the East who I used to work with and made my life total misery, has finally left so I'm free to be happy again...

The cats are all doing extremely well, and Max and I only have seven months left on this lease so we can move and all be together again. I see them a lot anyway, given that Sunday is with Mum and Cairo, and we get regular updates about Sashka from our friends who are her new Mum and Dad - and she is loving life, her new brother Ziggy, and all the chooks, ducks (and even the dog!) at her new home. Eating out of Waterford crystal and getting a bit chubby!!

Apart from that, we still haven't set a wedding date! Just don't seem to be able to get around to it, but all the horrid stressors we have had in our lives have passed and we are now getting on with things in a much happier way. Things were tough for a while there! But they're ok now.

And, I think it's time for me to restart the `Parts of the Body' thread that was doing the rounds for a while. That was fun!

So, I've missed you all, but it's nice to be here and posting again - there's nowhere like TCS, there's nowhere like TCS (I'm wearing my Ruby red shoes at the moment...)

I've not been around much either as we just moved house and I don't have a minute to get on, and once I do get on I find its hours later and everything I had to do in the house is still not done!
Sorry things have been so bad for you hun, glad they are on the up now though

I'm a bit MIA at the moment due to one thing and another, but as you say, there's no place like TCS and we're always there for eachother even in absence

Hope everything just keeps getting better. Give the puppers a pet from me. I was thinking about them just yesterday as I was in a gardening store and saw a big bag of bone meal.

Just because you don't have any physical cats, you DO have imaginary cats as well as the cats here on the site. Don't use that as an excuse. Get back here where you belong.

That's no excuse and you're always welcome here. We know you love cats as much as we do. I didn't know you had to part with them for a while.

Thanks everyone sometimes life just gets you down, huh? But actually, all things considered, I'm very proud of the way I handled the many stressors of the past six months because normally this kind of stress is what would send me into some kind of depressive episode, but I handled it all and medication-free too! YAY! Things are really looking up if that can happen (did lose some hair and about 4kg but this is not a bad thing...lol)

Of course in hindsight I really should have realised that I could have come and shared everything with all you wonderful friends of mine. I should have also realised that you would understand the situation with the kitters and wouldn't judge me, and that I shouldn't have stayed away because I was embarrassed and ashamed....

So thank you again - I'll not be so silly in future!
