My baby is going under the knife right now - he's being neutered and his umbilical hernia is also being operated on.

Please could I ask for a few vibes for a smooth and uneventful surgery for him?

I'm beside myself with worry, I cried when the vet took him from us
(silly me)

Of course you can!

Don't feel bad about crying. I got scared the first time my cat went under (and I'd had seven surgeries myself at that point!) When I confessed to my vet how I was feeling, she agreed - she'd had a surgery herself, and of course, performed lots of them - and she still got worried and scared when it was her kitty under the knife.

Thank you very much, it means a lot to me

I have a bit of a phobia about medical procedures. For example - I'm not squeamish about the sight of blood but I still faint because of fear when I have to have blood taken. Even having my BP measured freaks me out. I've never had hospital treatment or surgery myself, and never had a pet need surgery before, this is a first for me.

Thank you all, I feel a bit better now

When I took 8-Bit in to get fixed I cried in the vets office. The tech brought me a box of tissues and a cup of coffee. It's okay to be nervous and cry when this happens to our fur family. All you want is for him to be safe. If you need anything today please feel free to PM me.

((((vibes and well wishes for Radar))))))

We have to phone the vet at 1400 to check everything is fine and that we can collect him at 1600...
The disclaimer form was a bit heartwrenching

Any good vibes for my wallet perchance

I'm hoping Radar will be fine

((((((wallet vibes))))))) I've found that they never work quite as well as (((((get better vibes))))), but I'll pass them out all the same.

Don't feel bad for crying. The last time I took all of the girls into the vet, Lucy was taken to have her bladder surgery and Much was taken to get a urine sample (always a full day event for her). It hit me hard when I got home with only one cat.

I'm saying a little prayer for Radar right now that he is doing well and will continue to do well.
