I have a 7 month old kitty named Marcie. Normally she is playful and inquisitive and generally underfoot. She also eats like a little piggy. Today, with no warning she is just blah. Not interested in food, just wants to lay on the futon and sleep. She is drooling just a little. Do cats have "blah" days or should I call the Dr?

I think you need to call a vet. Changes that sudden, especially with the drooling, can be serious. Could she have gotten into something, like a cleaning chemical?

There is no evidence that she got into any sort of anything. No little messes around the house, no broken containers. All cleaning supplies are kept way out of reach. The drooling is only once in awhile...not constant. I took her outside on her harness yesterday and she played hard. I don't know if she is just being a couch potato, but it is weird that she is off her food.

I'd take her to the vet to rule out a URI. When kitty doesn't want to eat I worry - 2 days without food can start liver failure in a cat and it goes downhill from there very quickly.

Well, she has an appt today at the vet. She was drooling more this morning. I am so worried about her. Normally she is so happy...I can't even get a little purr out of her.
