No, she went out last winter and got frost bite on her ears. It was the weirdest thing as it really was not all that cold outside. She usually never stayed out all night. We had a kitty door back then and they all could go in and out when they wanted.

We think maybe she got in a fight or maybe fell or was hit or something. She went out in the early evening and didn't come home until morning. She was sort of out of it but seemed fine after a day and it wasn't until about three weeks later that we noticed that on the backs of both of her ears seemed to have scabs. She has the black ears so it was hard to see. And she is pretty much a loner so it was not something we noticed right away.

So she lost both of the tips of her ears. They healed up and she is fine now.

We also suspect that is the night she got preggers. She had her litter on Mothers Day and we kept two of them. Bob in the last picture is her son. She been spayed since the babies were 12 weeks old and is also an indoor kitty.
