I'm playing hooky..

I was supposed to work 4 hours today, and it was my final shift on my old team. But as soon as I got in I called my manager, and he said I could go home. He'd just put it as a prescheduled day. I'm so happy I don't have to be there today. This is the best feeling.

That is the best, now you enjoy a day at home...

I really must be predictable.

DH brought home some lovely ginger root that a friend of his grows in a hot house. I just had to make something with it. We shall see how it turns out. I'm also having a friend over for dinner so I'm whipping up some spicy steak tacos tonight.
