Radar is exactly 6 months old today

He is celebrating his half-birthday in many ways:

Sitting on the windowsill watching the birds in the trees outside
Lying in my lap positioned so that he gradually slips down between my knees and then clawing his way back up
Telling me he wants out of the sitting room by leaping up and abseiling down my leg with his claws

Building sandcastles in his litterbox - at least it looks as though that's what he's trying to do

Flopping full length across the corridor when I am trying to get to the kitchen
Throwing water around the bathroom while I am washing his food bowl
Checking that gravity still works by knocking DVDs off the top shelf
Lying on top of my bag of doritos
Using the edge of the bookcase as a scratching post - while sitting on the top shelf so I can't get him down
Trying to climb the tall lamp stand and making it wobble - it now resembles the leaning tower of pisa

Batting tomatoes and bulbs of garlic out of the veg rack and down the corridor, the tomatoes do not survive this treatment well

I dare say that as the day goes on he will find new and exciting ways to 'celebrate'

Happy half-birthday Radar, thank you for all the joy you have brought to us, and we'll try to put the destruction and chaos out of mind for the day

Awww... happy birthday little guy! Take this lesson from 8-Bit, life is short, knock over your Meowmy's glass of red wine and create modern art with your paw prints on her counter tops!

Just kidding.

Happy Birthday Radar!

Thanks

Yes the time has flown by, when we first brought him home with us he was a little bundle of fluff that could crawl under the TV cabinet - he can't even get his head under there now!

Oh it got worse. I have a mug full of chopsticks on the kitchen windowsill (mmmmmm.... chinese food
) and he went up there, knocked over the mug, and started batting the chopsticks off the windowsill into the bowl of washing up. He then balanced on the edge of the bowl and went 'fishing' trying to get them out again. A bunch of thyme would have gone the same way if I hadn't taken it away from him. And of course there were wet pawprints all over the kitchen.
