Hey, SOCKIESMOM!

I noticed in you bio that you are trying to learn the guitar. My SO taught himself to play and he found some video lessons that he said helped him more than anything in the 5 years he has been playing. They are called Song Express, and they are put out by Warner Brothers Music. They have 3 or 4 different songs on them in various styles of music. I think he said they are fairly inexpensive. They are coming out on DVD now, too. I know his playing picked up after he got them. Just thought I would pass this along.

Wow! Thanks a lot. That's really great that your SO taught himself to play. I'll keep an eye out for those. Right now, I'm just learning out of books and it's quite confusing because I don't know a lot about the terminology. Do you know if he bought them off the internet, or in a store?

He bought them at a Mars Music store, but I think they would have them on their website. I don't know how to post a link, but I just did keyword "mars music" and got it. marsmusic.com is what was in the address box. They have everything. I know he had all kinds of books and video lessons, and these were the best so far. I will ask him if he has any more that were really good.
