I live in manhattan and have been a smoker on and off for 15 years, not by choice at this point! When I was a regular smoker, I always found second hand smoke extremely offensive! I also would never smoke in main living areas of home avoiding the stench and staining it would leave on everything!!! I even argued with family members about understanding when they banned cigarette smoking in public eating areas, and wqas smoking at the time!
Manhattan has recently brought in new laws prohibiting smoking in front of lounges, basically you are not sappose to stand around in front of bars and smoke....but they don't reinforce it in my nieghborhood..........ok, so I can deal with that. My super-dooper problem is that my roomate is a smoking freak!!!! I literally have weather strip around his door to his bedroom and a towel underneath it, as well as a drape over it! Still, the stench of cigarette smoke wofting out! It literally makes me sick to my stomach!
PLEASE JUST OUTLAW CIGARETTES FOR GOOD!!!!!!!!
