I've always felt I had a bond with my pets that goes a little beyond..to almost spooky, and have had several odd occurences over the years.. here are a few of them.
Was outside talking to someone in the front yard and felt that familiar furry love rub around my legs.. looked down and nothing there. No one saw a cat anywhere.
My cat went missing and we combed the neighborhood for it, and was just about to give up hope. As I was walking back home, I glanced over at a house and saw a cement block covering a hole in their foundation. I marched on to their property moved the block and my cat ran out.
This one is the most bizarre. I was in my teens, 14 maybe, was home alone on a Saturday as my parents both decided to work that day taking the truck. I was watching TV in a room that sits right by the driveway, and all the sudden I hear the family car horn start to honk. Home alone, and 14, I'm scared..
I look out, and I kid you not, a cat that had gone missing over a year before was in the car with her front paws on the horn. the car windows are all up, it's possible the car wasnt locked, but highly unlikely since I didnt drive and the folks had left.
I let the cat out..she greets me like she never left, goes to the door to be let in the house..runs to the kitchen just like always.. I feed her, pet her for a bit, then she runs to the door begging to be let out.. and I never see her again. (dunno why I let her back out.. was 20 yrs ago and my family always let the cat be where they wanted..in or out back then..and I felt compelled to let her out)
Was someone trying to return her to me? or was it a ghostie cat visit? ooww I dunno!
