So everyone, what are you making for dinner tonight? I'm about to go raid the pantry and see what I have to cook with.

Sounds better than mine - other than the fact that I didn't have to cook it!

I have an avocado in prime condition, and some nice ham. I know they will figure, but I haven't figured out how, or what else will turn up on our plates.

Visiting my pops for dinner tonight... he's making chile rellenos, tacos, rice and beans. Mmmmm. You definitely have to love Mexican food to understand the magnitude of a chile relleno!

Well after raiding the pantry and deciding that I can't come up with anything better, i'm making cheesy beef strognaoff with those little flat wavy noodles.

we had french toast, eggs (I didn't have any because I hate eggs!
), sausage (I had a piece, because I was starving and normally don't eat sausage unless it's on pizza.
), and bacon.

Probably the leftovers from lunch.

I can't really cook right now unless I plan on eating it all myself. Brian got food poisoning last week and doesn't really want to eat anything more than saltine crackers yet.

oh yikes! poor brian!
i hope he starts to feel better soon- I had horrible food poisioning a few months ago from Pig-n-Whistle bbq- it was aweful- i had to go to the doc and missed work. I was sick for like a week. Get him some Emetrol (or the walgreens brand of it) - it's antinausea medicine- it helped me a lot when I had food poisioning. Also, make sure he stays really hydrated. I'm sure he'll be better in no time with you looking after him

Nikki, do you know that Emetrol is actually only flat coke? That's what the Pharamecist told Mom when Dad got sick from Chemo.
He said take a bottle of coke and shake it until you get all the fizz out and it's the same thing.
I had a bagel with butter and hot cheese on it
the kids had sloppy joes and mac-n-cheese

OMG! You're pharmamacist is absolutely right
when I read your post I was curious so I grabbed the bottle of emetrol and one of Colin's Cherry Cokes to compare! (I don't drink soft drinks eithor, so i probably didn't even notice lol
) - here's what the bottle says for the walgreens version of it -

Emetrol (walgreens version)
dextrose(glucose)
levulose(fructose)
phosphoric acid
FD&C
red no. 40
flavor
glycerin
methlparaben
purified water

Coke (Colin's Cherry Coke to be more specific)
carbonated water
high fructose corn syrup
sucrose
caramel color
phosphoric acid
natural flavors
caffine

the ingredients in those are really similar- that is funny
i would have never noticed- geesh, glad I don't drink soft drinks, i'd be putting a lot of junk in my system on a regular basis if i did- i definitely don't need that
