I listen to yahoo launchcast during the day at work and I am grooving to the sounds of the 70's today! I've already heard The Hustle, I Will Survive, Let's Get It On... I love this station!! I think I was born in the wrong generation
Anyone else have a secret love of Disco??

I've had my friend come over and tell me to stop singing
I wear headphones too, guess I get carried away!

Well I graduated in 1975 from High School and am quite fond of disco. In fact I burned a couple CD's full of disco for playing when I'm on the treadmill. And I have Donna Summers greatest hits, Earth Wind and Fire CD's and KC and the Sunshine band!!! I know all the "good songs"!!

Oh I love Earth Wind & Fire!! Donna Summers sing "Hot Stuff", right? they played that yesterday. My favorite song of all time is Kool & The Gang's "Celebration"

That's so true! You'll always hear "Brickhouse" or "Atomic Dog" at least!!

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
I had tickets booked to see Barry White (God rest his soul) about a year before he died, but he had to cancel because of back problems
Supporting him were Earth, Wind and Fire and Heatwave. We had the option of either getting a refund and still going to see the other bands or cancelling completely, but because that was my era and i'd already seen Heatwave in the mid 70's who at the time were supporting Tavares we still went and had a brilliant time

I had my leg in plaster and on crutches but it didn't stop me shaking my frame

Oh the memories!!

Me!!! I love disco, any type of 70's music and the 80s too - well except for acid and house.

I was born in '68 so that makes me a young old soul?

Anybody here love the B52s???

That's sounds like a great time! I never knew who Tavares was, but every song they've played, I've loved! Shake that Booty Susan!!
Now they're playing "Love Machine"
