It's election day, and I'm going to go vote on my way to work. I have to say, the "pickings are slim" here. I'm going on the "lesser of two evils" style of voting.

Who else voted today?

Already voted @ 7am when polls opened. Had to push myself to get there early because voting is at the high school and parking is always at a premium. We have a local ballot question on a new police station. When I came out I noticed that the supporters had a table with the layout of the new station and a box of donuts. Not sure that's the right message to send, even if it's not meant that way!

I did my civic duty!

Note to politicians: If your campaign CALLS MY HOME, you are immediately eliminated from my voting choices!

It isn't like I've been asleep the last few months! Can we stop the mud-slinging now, puh-lease?

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
Since moving, I haven't re-registered yet. I will sometime in the next several months... when I get to it. I need to acclimate to the mud-slinging of the area and get to know the politicians and their issues much better than the excrement being flung on TV.

Mute Button has been on for some time now. I do think it's getting worse each election. It's tiresome.... and I wonder who actually thinks that junk works on us.

Movin' on up!
Mailed in my ballot, on Friday. We have so many propositions on this one, I wanted to take my time filling out my ballot.

I was there around 7:05 this morning! With Mitt Romney eyeing the White House, we have a very nasty gubernatorial election this year. I went with the lesser of the two evils.

I just noticed GingersMom commented on our mud-slinging. It has been ridiculous!

I'll be voting later today...I still haven't showered yet(ahh...the wonders of working at home!). I, too, will be going with the lesser of two evils. I honestly don't like any of these people, esp. since the ads they have been running are like a bunch of 8 year olds whacking each other with sticks!

I agree...that really turns me off too. The phone calls, AND the tv commercials slamming each other.

However, I am a bad American....
I didn't vote today....and I'm not planning on it.

I had no excuse not to vote today...my precinct is at the end of the road I live on.

Besides, with the way Michigan's economy is going, the number of people in line this morning was almost like the line for the last national election. Plus I thought about skipping, BUT realised, if I depend on others to vote for the person I want to win, then I'm not doing my job being a U.S. citizen.
