Got back from the vet recently and was anxious to get my baby feeling better. Has not been eating. So was given two medications to give her. One for infection, Baytril. The other to help stimulate appetite, Cyproheptadine. I am only to give her 1/2 of the stimulant (12 hr pd) and I gave her a whole one. The Baytril was a whole pill so I did not pay attention. Am I ok. We took it about 2 hrs ago. She is going to eat her food which is good. Am I ok? Help! Thank you.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
This is likely not a life threatening problem, although, while I can appreciate your eagerness to get you baby well as soon as possible, it is absolutely essential that we are precise in measuring and administering our cat's medications. In any case of potential poisoning, the immediate first step is to call your cat's Vet or an Emergency Vet.

A situation such as this always requires extra care, and it is always better to err on the side of caution. Please promptly go here and call your local Emergency Animal Poison Control Center. Please do let us know what you learn and how your baby is feeling now. Feel better soon, little one!

Thank you DawnofSierra. I had called the emer vet line from my vet and they told me 1 was within the limits of her weight. I will be more careful and learn to read before getting to anxious.

She is eating but also does not seem very happy now.
